Scientists in School's Innovation Circle is a special group of dedicated people committed to building a strong foundation of science and innovation among our youth and inspiring Canada's next generation of leaders.
The Innovation Circle provides unique opportunities and benefits to individuals who make an annual, undesignated contribution of $250 or more in support of Scientists in School's work.
Your donation can be made as a single gift or as monthly gifts, depending on your preference. By making this commitment, you'll become a key partner in our efforts to 'spark' scientific curiosity in our next generation. And, because your gift is unrestricted, you are enabling SiS to use these funds where our needs are most urgent. Thank you!
All Innovation Circle members have the option to receive:
- A special certificate of thanks
- Our teacher newsletter, S.M.I.L.E. (Science Matters In Life and Education), issued during the school year so that you can be kept up-to-date about SiS in the classroom
- Special recognition in SiS's Annual Report and on our website
- A copy of SiS's Annual Report
With an annual contribution of $1,000 or more, you will join our Innovation Circle as an Innovation Leader, a special group of like-minded people passionate about science and inspiring science literacy in our children. As an Innovation Leader, you have the option to receive (in addition to the above):
- Special updates from our Executive Director to keep you informed on our progress and the impact we are having on our next generation of scientists
- A personal invitation to SiS's Annual General Meeting and other special events that may be occurring
- A unique opportunity to join SiS as a guest in a classroom to experience for yourself the wonders we bring to children and youth
With an annual contribution of $2,500 or more, you will join our Innovation Circle as an Innovation Champion, a select group of special SiS donors making a compelling difference for our next generation of scientists and leaders. As an Innovation Champion, you have the option to receive (in addition to the above):
- An autographed copy of Dr. Roberta Bondar's book Touching the Earth, her amazing visual and written testament to the beauty and variety of our planet, generously donated by her in recognition of your leadership.
- A special invitation to join SiS Board members, senior staff and other Innovation Champions at an exclusive event where you will learn more about our program and the impact you are having on our next generation
